Find Your Axis
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
1. Overview
Find Your Axis (“FYA”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) helps adults explore patterns motivations, preferences, identity, and personal development through quizzes, results, profiles, and related insights.
This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what is useful, explain why it is used, and avoid using identifiable personal data in ways that would surprise you.
2. Adults only
FYA is intended for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect account data from children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we may close the account and delete or de-identify associated personal information.
3. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: email address, sign-in method, display name, adult confirmation, birth year, country or region, and account settings.
- Quiz and result information: quiz responses, scores, generated results, result history, and saved or shared result links.
- Guest quiz information: quiz responses and limited context such as age range, country or region, and gender response when provided before account creation.
- Consent choices: whether you agree to product improvement uses, non-commercial research uses, or commercial research and partner insight uses.
- Usage and security information: device, browser, logs, pages visited, sign-in events, error data, and security-related activity.
- Communications: messages, support requests, staff invitations, account emails, and email delivery events.
- Payment information: if paid features are offered, payments may be processed by a payment provider. We do not intend to store full card details ourselves.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide quizzes, results, profiles, and account features;
- save and update your FYA profile when you choose to sign up;
- operate, secure, debug, and improve FYA;
- personalise your experience and reduce repeated questions;
- send account, security, password, and invitation emails;
- understand aggregate usage, conversion, and product quality;
- develop better models of human drivers and quiz scoring;
- conduct de-identified or aggregated non-commercial research when you consent;
- create de-identified or aggregated commercial research, benchmarks, reports, or partner insights when you consent; and
- comply with legal, security, and operational obligations.
5. Research, commercial insights, and de-identification
FYA may generate research findings, aggregate reports, trend summaries, datasets, benchmarks, or partner insights. Where these uses go beyond operating and improving FYA, we ask for separate consent.
We do not intend to sell identifiable personal information. Commercial opportunities should use aggregated, de-identified, or privacy-preserving outputs unless you have clearly agreed otherwise.
De-identification reduces risk but may not remove all risk in every context. We will use reasonable safeguards before sharing or publishing aggregate or de-identified outputs.
6. Sharing and service providers
We may share information with trusted providers that help us run FYA, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, analytics, security, payment, and support providers. These providers process information for us so FYA can operate.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or business transfer, subject to reasonable protections.
7. Your choices
You can update profile details, change your password, and manage some account settings in FYA. You may request access, correction, withdrawal of optional research consent, or account closure, subject to legal, security, and legitimate operational limits.
If you use Google sign-in, some identity information is managed by Google. You can also manage FYA’s access from your Google Account.
8. Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide FYA, maintain security, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support legitimate product and research purposes. We may retain aggregated, de-identified, or non-identifying formation after an account is deleted or deactivated.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including managed authentication, role-based access controls, secure hosting, and email-domain verification. No system is perfectly secure, so you should use a strong password and protect access to your email account.
